What it is
Your taxable wages for the month: basic pay plus taxable special pays, minus pre-tax items like Traditional TSP. BAH and BAS never appear here because they are not taxed.
What goes wrong
In a combat zone month, enlisted taxable wages drop to zero or near zero. Outside that, this should be close to basic pay minus Traditional TSP. Large unexplained swings deserve a look.
