What it is
Monthly pay for duty aboard a ship. The amount grows with your pay grade and your cumulative years of sea duty, so two sailors in the same billet can earn different sea pay. Some ships and stints also qualify for a Career Sea Pay premium.

Your cumulative sea counter is the thing to protect. If a sea tour was recorded short, every future month of sea pay is computed low. Compare the years-of-sea-service your rate implies against your actual sea time.
