What it is
This is not money taken from you. Military pay computes monthly but pays twice a month, so the amount you already received on the 15th appears as a deduction on the end-of-month LES. It is your own money, already in your bank account.

What goes wrong
The most misread line on the entire LES. If you are trying to figure out where your money went, start by remembering this line is the paycheck you already got.
